Season of the Splicer is here! Level caps have increased by 10. Soft cap is 1260, powerful cap is 1310, and gear cap is 1320.

From now on, Bungie has indicated that level cap increases will be +10 for seasons and +50 for major releases. This means veteran Destiny players will no longer have to grid through powerful drops again, once they reach the max season level.

Deep Stone Crypt is now rewarding powerful gear instead of pinnacle. This is an intended change.
